I replaced the valve cover gaskets, the intake manifold gasket, and the intake plenum gasket that goes under the supercharger and when I put everything back together it revs up and down and it sounds like it has an air leak. The check engine light and the traction control light turned on and a reduced engine power lights showed. I got codes p0068, p0069, and p0101. Has anyone come across this problem.
Sounds like one of the gaskets either wasn't seated properly or is defective. If you can audibly hear air escaping, something isn't sealing correctly.
@mod_man
I was just about to add a comment of what I discovered after messing around with it more, I can assure you that the gaskets were properly seated and I know they weren't defective because I looked at each gasket carefully to make sure that they weren't defective but that was my first guess but also I should have been more clear my bad, but its not that it sounds like its leaking air more like its sucking air in from probably a loose hose. But what I did this morning after posting the question was disconnect the maf, map, and another sensor right beside the map sensor and started the car up and it runs the way its supposed to.
Hey no problem. I'm glad you got it sorted.
