Sometimes when I push the clutch in the engine will continue to rev high, and not drop down to normal idle.
If I turn ignition key off then start it again it will sometimes start functioning normally again.
Truck has 85,000 miles.

Have you cleaned the throttle body lately? Sounds like there may be something sticking in the throttle linkage. I would start there.
