Hi guys ,
what do you think will be more reliable to buy a well maintained 2009rx350 or 2006 rx330
will this car last 22 years without something critical happening?
Possibly, if it's been well-maintained and not been flooded or in a serious accident. You cannot count on Carfax revealing those kind of problems since not everything is reported to them.
Be sure to have a good mechanic give the vehicle a thorough inspection if you proceed and don't pay too much.
I dont know what is carfax but the mechanic-said it is in a good shape , the question is will it last 5 more years?

No one can say, there are too many variables. Old luxury cars in particular have a lot of equipment that can break down.
So your saying basically its a risky business
Of course buying an old car is risky business by its very nature. Even worse if you're not going to be working on it yourself and have to pay a mechanic every time something goes wrong.
With the RX350, Just watch out for the rubber engine oil cooler lines in the, I think it was. The first few years had the rubber in them, and when they failed, and they did, it could quickly toast your engine. It was likely changed by now though, if not you should asap.
Overall they were good cars, my mother had one, they never had any trouble with it.
Hard to tell, you forgot some information about those cars.

Im asking in general lets say both have 100 k miles
Is one of them known for leas problems in general or both the say in terms of number of faults and more expensive repairs
