2006 Subaru Forester P0457 codes
I have a 2006 Subaru Forester LL Bean,and its its got check engine light and cruise control light coming on.OBD scan indicates a loose gas cap.So i bought a new gas cap and light still comes on.I,m hoping there is a permanent fix because i,m tired of resetting code. Do you know of a fix to stop this?It,s 2023 and car has 37,000 miles on it.

P0457 is not a "loose gas cap" code. (As far as I know there is no such thing.) That is just a frequent cause of that code. Since replacing the cap did not fix the problem you have a leak somewhere else in your evap system.
