Scotty, my son is active duty Navy in San Diego and owns a 2007 Accord 4 cylinder, 170,000 miles auto transmission. About a year ago his engine started shutting down shortly after being started and it didn't matter if it was cold or hot. He never had it scanned but spray cleaned the throttle body then changed the alternator. Neither helped. Should he have it scanned still or could it be his fuel assembly/filter? Thanks.
Could be all kinds of things a lot of those that bad ignition switches that shot off like that have a check ignition switch first
I have a 2001 accord and one day it would not start. I found that I had no spark and wasn’t getting any fuel. There was a relay under the dash on the driver side that controls the fuel pump and the ignition.
