I have a 2007 Chevrolet Impala ltz 220k 3.9 vvt engine automatic. Recently check engine light code po521. I replaced oil sending sensor. Again po521 code. Oil pressure check at idle around 10 psi. Engine is quite. I changed oil and filter. Added 10w40 oil instead of 5w30. Engine light not returned yet. Should I replace oil pump or do something else?

I would change the oil pump and stick to the recommended oil viscosity.
