Hey Scotty, I recently purchased a 2007 Chevy Trailblazer ss with 87k miles awd. Iv had it for a few months runs fine, I'll be in D and I turn the wheel I hear popping.. But if I go into N or if I'm in Park I can turn the wheel I want and I don't hear it 🤣 what could it be? I don't really hear it too much while I'm driving mostly in D while standing still. I did recently get an alignment at a reputable place called Town Fair Tire. They didn't see anything wrong underneath it so I would assume they would of told me if a bolt was seized ect.. Something was busted ect.

Popping sound can mean a lot of things, depending on where they originate.
