Hey Scotty love your work. I drive a 2007 Caliber 128,000miles (pre-owned by mechanic). On the highway if driven at 70mph for 30-40mins the car loses power and drops down to 40mph and the rpm stays at 3 and the temperature gage light goes on but the car isn’t hot. What is wrong ?
driving the car slow and easy nothing really goes wrong with the car, it’s just at steady 70mph the car shuts down it is worry some , I’m not the only one driving this vehicle.

If it's with CVT, i would suggest you to start with your transmission it sounds like it operates in emergency mode.
