2007 Dodge Dakota AC Not Working

I have a 2007 Dodge Dakota Crew Cab with a 4.7 flex fuel V8 engine with an automatic transmission.  I live in Myrtle Beach,  SC, and now it is the hottest time of the year.  My ac has stopped working properly.  The air flow coming out of vents is weak and the air is not cold.  When I start it up with ac on I get a squeak which is like a fan belt being lose!  Any suggestions Scotty what this problem is?

Have you checked high and low pressures using a manifold gauge set? Is your blend door operating properly?

No.  I do not have the equipment!  I don't think it is the doors.  Been thing it is the blower motor or regulator.

A manifold gauge set is really the minimum required if you're going to be doing any AC diagnosis. An inexpensive set like this one that is under $40 would suffice for occasional home use:

(For some reason this site tends to mess up Amazon links. It's the "OMT 5FT AC Diagnostic Manifold Freon Gauge Set".)

It's not unlikely that some refrigerant has leaked out after 17 years but of course there could be other problems. In fact you may have multiple issues. You state that the airflow is weak and that would be a problem with your HVAC fan not directly related to the AC being warm. Could be a clogged cabin air filter, worn fan motor, flaps misdirecting air, or possibly foam pieces coming loose inside the ductwork and blocking air flow.
