I have an ‘07 Ford Escape, 4-Cylinder, FWD, 129,457 Miles. A while back I took it to a transmission shop because any shifting from 2nd to 3rd gear it kicks, as well as any time I try to accelerate to pass vehicles or get on the freeway it lags and kicks. They said they couldn’t feel much and did a full system flush. Is my transmission on its way out, and are the people I took the vehicle to a bunch of fools?
Yes your transmission is done for but you can try to put in some of this https://lucasoil.com/products/transmission to see that helps at all because you already done a flush and it couldn't hurt anything now. Hope that help either way baby it and see how long you can go. After the trans goes just get rid of it and get something else because it's going to be too expensive to try and fix.
