Hey Scotty, Mike here love you help videos! Got one for you. 2007 Ford Expedition 5.4 no codes. Only happens when you drive like grand maw or when you drive around 45 MPH with the cruise on. I don't know if it has an interface with the torque converter or transmission, but the first time it happened I though I hit a log in the road. It made a thud seriously like hitting a log. Only did it once the first time startled me. Actually I though I had hit something. Then the next time it did it twice in a row, like the engine is disconnecting from the transmission and then slamming back in gear? Took it to my local Ford dealer, and you know being it shows no codes other than a pending o2 sensor bank one sensor 1 they didn't have a clue said bring it back if it gets worse. Since it's not showing any codes its gotta be your transmission and that sounds it slipping really bad. You need to take it to a mechanic you trust and have them test drive it so you know for sure and if they confirm what I said then try and get a used transmission from a junkyard car if you can find one because it's going be cheaper that getting a new one and don't get your rebuilt they rarely rebuild correctly.
