Scotty! I've got an '07 Honda Accord 2.4L (interference engine) with an automatic. 172K miles. Runs fine, but it's got it's original timing chain. I asked the dealer about changing it, but he says not to worry because once the chain starts to stretch the Check Engine light will come on. Never heard this in my life. Is this true?

If you do not have symptoms (rattling noise of the chain), leave it alone, just make sure you change the oil every 5k miles.
