Scotty,
I have a 2014 Camry XE with a 6 speed auto transmission and a 2.5 Liter engine. The car has 154,000KM (approx 96,000 miles) Here is my question, is it too late to have the filter and fluid in the transmission replaced in terms of Mileage? If not, where do you suggest getting the work done, or can this easily be a DYI project? (I perform most of my own maintenance, brakes, etc so I am used to working on cars) By the maintenance info received when I purchased this car, the transmission fluid and filter has never been done.
Appreciate your insite.

I would change the ATF (drain and fill). You can do it yourself. Here is a video from Scotty:
So don't replace the filter?
I personally do not do that.
it's not a difficult job, but it is messy. You need a large catch pan.
When I tallied up the price of doing it myself (new fluid, gasket + filter) and compared it to a quote from the tranny shop, I said to heck with it and took it to the shop. The cost of the labour was less than the material. It's not worth it for me to crawl around under there getting dirty, and then cleaning up the mess afterwards for a measly $70. I make that much at work in less than 2hrs. Oil is extremely expensive right now. A quart of axle oil costs $45.
If the tranny has a serviceable filter, definitely replace it. They are cheap.
