Scotty, how much does it cost to replace the 2nd gear synchronizers on a 2007 Honda Accord V6 manual? I dont think i have a problem with synchros now, but I may have to have it replaced by the time I reach 200k miles. Was curious about how much a job would cost. Also, have you ever rebuilt a manual transmission before?

generally a small fortune because Honda's have motorcycle type transmissions which need to be split to be worked on and they cost a fortune to take apart that way
I called up this junkyard that sells remanufacturered transmissions for Accords like mine for $1800 each. The transmission does come with a warranty. Is going that route a better idea?
