Hi Scotty, I am a fan from Dallas, TX - I bought a used 2007 Honda CR-V with about 140,000 miles. Everything works - but the ride somehow feels bumpy when driving slow and feels smooth on the highway. Are the strut and spring assembly the cause of this? I tried pressing on the left and right sides with my weight to see the bumpiness - however, it looks strong and not wobbly. Please let me know the things I need to highlight to my mechanic who seems to think that it is okay the way it is on an old car.
Thanks for all the youtube videos and the time you share.

They are not the smoothest riding vehicles. Are the struts leaking at all?At that mileage you could put new struts if you wanted. You would probably get a little better ride, but nothing outrageous. I seriously doubt you need to replace the springs.

What vehicle are you comparing this CR-V to?
What tyres (make, model and age) are on the vehicle, at present?
