Within the next few months, I am looking to trade in my 2004 Ford F-150 with 200,200 miles for a 2007 to 2013 Chevy Suburban or GMC Yukon. My F-150 runs ok but the body has seen better days. I would get a Toyota Sequoia, but they cost way to much money. I also don’t want a Honda because I want a V8. I know you are not a fan of General Motors, but what is your overall thoughts on 07-13 Suburban or Yukon? What should I look for?
Note: I would only drive it once a week or only when I need it, as I have a 2006 Buick Lucerne as my daily driver.

I own a 08 Escalade (very similar) it’s been a good vehicle, I would expect the same if not a little less of the same life span. If the transmission goes just scrap it. Not worth the headache at that point.

I'm not particularly a fan of them. Not the best built vehicles out there by far.
