I’m thinking about buying a used 2007 Honda Fit Sport. It’s got an automatic transmission and 71k miles on it. It is from a dealership and they say the car has only had one owner and no accidents. What are your thoughts about it? Are there any problems with that model or year specifically?
Price? Don't believe anything the dealer tells you. The mileage may not even be true, let alone accidents or flooding. (Seeing as how the car is 15 years old it is probably being sold by a low-end used car lot and came from an auction with no known history.)
In general dealers are to be avoided, but if you decide to move forward be sure to have your own mechanic do a thorough pre-purchase inspection. Here are some issues that model may have, the most common of which appears to be trouble with the electric power steering ($$$$ to repair):
