Hi Scotty,
Hi Scotty.
I hope you can help me with this.
I have a 2007 Infiniti M35 177,000.
It was in a flood.
Here's my problem.
Whenever I go to the car wash -
automatic or self-wash - the car won't
start until the next day. It's like something
has to dry off/out.
The Nissan dealer said it was possibly
the ignition actuator ($900 just for the labor).
Have you had any experience with this? Do you know
of a fix? Thanks. lukemuhammad@gmail.com

Thanks.
On a car that has been flooded, it could be any number of electrical components. I'd hate to even start guessing.
Thanks.
If you are 100% sure that will solve the issue, buy the part and ask an independent mechanic to replace it.
Thanks.
Best bet is to look at where the computers are located or any section of the harness that is located where the car wash would spray it. It’s definitely getting water into a connection somewhere to cause this to happen
Thanks.
