2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4 3.6L V6 Automatic 120,000mi

Hello, My 07 Grand Cherokee just recently started making a noise that I am uncertain about the cause. When I hit the gas to get up to speed it sounds normal until about a second into accelerating it sounds like it is revving loudly but on the rpm gauge it does not look abnormal, I have also notice a slight amount of reduced power since this started a couple weeks ago. It shifts smooth and idles fine, though I do think it has a little exhaust leak from living in the rust belt all of its life. I’ve owned it since it was new and have always maintained it well it has never caused me any issues, always starts and runs.
