Hello Scotty! I just purchased a used 2007 Lexus IS250 Awd with 67,000 miles on it...any suggestions on what all I should do first since I’m not sure what all the previous owner did Maitenance wise? I got it from a small dealership not sure should I just change all fluids (oil, transmission fluid, flush radiator etc).
Ok...I got it..now being that I don’t have all the tools yet to do the job would it be safe for me to get all of that done at valvoline along with the other things they recommended something with the front and rear differential fluid? Total with all the flushing tire rotation and the differential stuff it’s about $950 total
I would not go to chain shops like Valvoline. Find an independent, honest mechanic to do the work.
Drain & refill your engine oil & transmission fluid.
Flush out the other fluids.
You'll find the quantities & types in your owner’s manual.
All the best!
I would change all the fluids.
Thanks
Drain and refill or flush out completely?
For the transmission and engine oil - drain and refill only.
