Hi Scotty,
I have 3 questions regarding my 2007 Lexus LS 460 Base (shorter one) 95000 miles automatic.
1) Does this have a timing belt that I need to replace and if so when should I replace it?
2) Should I change the transmission fluid and what type of transmission does this car have?
3) Anything else I should do?
thanks
It has a timing chain. Far as your tranny you need Toyota ATF Type T-IV I think. It should be changed maximum every 40k miles. Just drain whats in the pan, clean the pan out, change the filter, put the pan back on and add back the amount you drained from the pan, if your not able to measure it, add one quart back, start the car and let it run for 5-10 mins. While running on a level surface check your fluid on dipstick and add accordingly until its in the right zone between the marks
