Please provide bit more details. Is it small leak? Big leak? Location?

Hundred-sixty-nine thousand miles is not much on a Lexus, so, normally, a leak is not exactly a reason to rid of a car.

I don't know exactly where it is leaking from - when I opened the hood it wasn't obvious as to where the leak is coming from; however, it is a very small leak. I also know that it is engine oil, because it is black, whereas transmission oil is purple.

Search this forum for AT-205. And search Scotty’s YouTube for AT-205. Cheap fix that might work, depending on where and how much the leak is.

To find where the leak is coming from, you need to use a UV dye.  Check Scotty’s video below for how to use:

Fixing the leak could cost anywhere from $100 to $1,000 or more. It all depends what the problem is. Get a mechanic to look at it and I'm sure he can give you a better estimate.
