I am looking at cars to do uber for a year or 1-1/2 year. This 2007 Lincoln MKX has 96K miles. Looks good shape. Is it a reasonable candidate? I expect to put on probably 50K miles on it between uber and some personal driving.

Not a good idea. With that age, you should expect to have issues (from transmission to electrical problems). Consider a Toyota or Honda.
