I have a 2007 Pontiac Montana SV6 it's showing "Service vehicle soon" on the dash however the engine light is off and I checked it on a scanner and no codes showed up? what should I do? thanks!
sometimes the heat goes up a lot for 1 minute then it cools down to normal really quick, however the radiator fan keeps running on high all the time

This might be a computer and/or electrical issue. Check to see if your PCM is bad.

On the overheat issue, it sounds like a stuck thermostat. As for the "service" notice, the one I have is tied to the odometer and goes on every 30,000 mile but there is a switch to shut it off. Here is the procedure for your vehicle -
Turn ignition to ON position
Press and release accelerator 3 times slowly within five seconds.
Shut ignition off.
Start engine to see if notice is cleared.
