I have a question about my car it’s a 2007 Scion tC with about 193,000 miles and when it’s Idiling it louder in car the outside my engine is tight amd doesn’t rock what could be the cause of that

Well that's an engine where I realize the 07 had that bad engine that burns oil and wears out internally.but do check things like water pump and alternator to see if the bearings are going and they need replacing if you remove the fan belts and still makes the noise then one of those is causing it

Or exhaust pipe has a hole, I had the same it was louder inside then outside.
