I have a 2007 Tacoma 4dr 4wd 97,000 Miles, bought brand new. Great truck. I have recently been hearing some clicking/cracking noises when I go from reverse to drive & vice-versa. It does it mostly when I'm maneuvering in parking lot, backing up, u turns, etc. not major sounds, but you can hear it. Not sure what it could be, it does have some 20" on it. No lifts no heavy/meaty tires - nothing extra.
Can you make a YouTube video of the noise & post the link here?
Got this off of youtube - but its extremely similar. Almost the same...

I have 2005, same set up, 220K. The crappy skid plates they come can start to come off and make strange noises, I had to remove all mine years ago, maybe that?
