Dear Scotty , Thank you for all of your brilliant youtube videos. I am experiencing a problem with your least favorite vehicle...lol... 2007 Toyota 4 runner 4.0 2wd. I have what I believe is a torque convertor shudder at aproximatelt 1100 RPM and again at 1500 RPM. HELP ! What should I do ? Thanks in advance for your sage advice !
Visit a transmission shop so they can diagnose the issue. With that many miles, you may need a new transmission. It could also be a driveline issue. Check the ujoints and bearings for play , and make sure they're greased.
Always test drive, and have a vehicle inspected by a mechanic before purchase so you don't end up with any surprises.

I have recently purchased this vehicle. Mileage is over 250,000 according to carfax. The instrument cluster has been replaced , so exact mileage is unknown. I know nothing about the history of transmission maintenance.
