2007 Toyota Camry ABS and Emergency Brake Light On

I have a 2007 Camry with 218,000 miles. I recently took it for an inspection and they changed all four tire pressure sensor’s because my TPMS light was on. Until this point the car drove perfectly fine, but after they changed the sensors a few days later my ABS and E-brake light came on and the speedometer stopped working. After a few minutes the lights went off and the speedometer started working again. This can last anywhere between a few seconds to a few minutes. The car drives perfectly fine but when I scanned the car I was given the code “U0073” and told the abs module was bad and needs to be replaced. I was reading and found this is a common issue with high mileage Toyota’s. Any advice on the problem I would prefer not to get rid of it cause it still runs and drives great, although not sure if it’s worth putting the money in to fix it?

told the abs module was bad and needs to be replaced.

the code indicates a communication problem which could just be a loose/damaged/corroded wire/connector.

I get the impression your shop is the kind that throws parts at a problem rather than diagnosing. Either check it yourself or find another trustworthy mechanic.
