Hey Scotty, so I took my 2007 Toyota Camry v6 to a mechanic shop because it has been making a low whining noise. My mechanic plugged it up to a scan tool and two codes popped up saying something about the torque converter. Pretty much my mechanic said the torque converter is going bad and that I will need a new transmission. The car currently has 205,000 miles on it and it still drives and shifts no problem. What should i do ?
What were the codes? Was the noise originating from the transmission?

Get a new torque converter, about $200.
