Hi to all.
I have noticed that when I put my key in the ignition the security light is still flashing and the car will crank but not start. When the security light turns off, the car starts up. Do I need to get a new alarm system or what should I do because sometimes the car won't start. All of the relays and the starter, battery, fuel pump and sensors have been changed. Thank you.
Hopefully you have another known good key use that if not when it does start go to a locksmith many work on car locks and keys maybe they can just make you a new key or the good ones can actually diagnose it a lot cheaper than a dealership

Scotty, I want to thank you. It was the key. I called AAA since I have them and they sent me a locksmith who specializes on toyota and drives a toyota prius hatchback and he reprogram my key. The membership paid the job. Now my car turns on with no problem. Thank you Scotty.
