- Hi guys! I have a 2008 GMC Acadia 200k with v6 3.6L Engine. When driving the vehicle at 20-25mph the truck jerks of all sudden SOMETIMES and sometimes it doesn’t do it. I already changed the transmission fluid, rotated my tires, changed all worn suspension but it still keeps doing it.
PS, after I changed the transmission fluid it didn’t jerk that much but it still does

When a fuel pump begins to fail, it may struggle to consistently deliver the correct amount of the fuel to the engine. The fuel pump may dramatically increase pressure while failing, creating a jerking or surging sensation. Your vehicle may also be sluggish and struggle while driving uphill or towing.

Ill definitely check the pump tomorrow !

Did you change the ATF filter?
