2008 Chrylser Sebring, automatic transmission. Burning oil, high idle, and cranking 9-12 times before turning over.
Any thoughts on what it could be? It runs okay besides that. Check engine light is tripped, no trouble codes read for though.

Check your IAC (Idle Air Control) valve for the high idle. Watch Scotty’s video on a car that cranks but won’t start.

it needs a better scan tool to get the codes out
