I've been looking in to purchasing a vehicle for my self My 98 corolla, . Which I've had for a few years
life cycle is pretty much over. So I've been looking into other cars. I'm looking for something in the 2000 to 2014 range, mainly both cars and trucks. Any suggestions?

Get another corolla! Or you can upgrade to a camry. My son´s 96 Camry still going....

If you're just looking for a city commuter car the 2008-2011 Hyundai Accents are cheap and about as reliable as older Civics and Corollas. Easy to work on too. Not as high quality as those two but much less expensive. I bought an '09 GS hatchback a few years ago for $1600 on a lark and it's currently my daily driver. Runs like a top.
If you watch the channel Toyota and Honda are Scottys go to brands.
Do not go for Koreans if you had Japanese and you liked them.
I know it's kinda boring driving the same car, but if you don't mind, just stick with personal experience.
