Good afternoon Mr. Kilmer,
I know you’re an extremely busy man.
I was hoping you’d be able to help me with a 2008 Dodge Charger 2.7 engine that ran a while and then just quit.
I replaced the fuel pump & EGR valve as instructed.
I removed the intake plenum and attempted to turn it over … bottom half spins / upper half doesn’t. It produces blue flames from the Intake area I believe. Lastly, it makes a sound as if the engine is gargling loudly.
I’m not a mechanic any help would be greatly appreciated.

Lost me a bit there bud. So you replaced EGR and fuel pump but car died so you ripped apart the intake plenum and turned it over by key??? Bottom half spins and upper half doesn't? What does that mean? Producing boom you can see? So there is spark? I don't get it man, you got maybe a youtube video on what's going on?
Thanks BruceRee,
I tried to upload the 20 second video where others could see what’s going on and it really doesn’t make any sense to me either
BruceRee … if you put your email address I’ll send you the video. It’s baffling
I agree with the rules on the forum for in this portion, I don't want to put my email on a public form for all to see haha if you can't upload the video directly (the website is being constantly updated and bug fixes and what not) please upload a link to a YouTube video would be the most convenient for myself and other mechanics here.
