Scotty I’m thinking of buying a 2008 Ford Escape XLT with an automatic transmission from a dealership as a wholesale vehicle (no safety inspection, no warranty) for $1000. My plan is to fill it with tools, drive it in fields and tow small trailers for my job. It has 100,000 miles and it seems to be in good shape. Do you think this vehicle would hold up for a decent amount of time? Thanks.

well for my experience if a dealer is going to sell that thing for only $1,000 with no warranty it probably has some serious problems and it's not worth buy.but if you can find a mechanic like me to check it out and he says it's okay go ahead but really they sell their junkers generally for that kind of money
