Scotty, my Ford F-150 pours trani fluid from the dipstick filler tube. I changed the O ring and still pours out. It has been back firing and rough idle upon cold start until it warms up. My brand new battery goes dead if I don’t start the truck every other day and I think from jumping it so much my after market stereo quit working and from what I can tell the fuses are good! Geese can you give me some pointers? Please
Well kind of sounds like that truck is falling apart. Now if the fluid is being forced out of the dipstick, the transmission could be going out and it's building up too much pressure and it's going to throw it out no matter whether it's sealed or not. I see that a lot. And ask for going dead if it sits a day. Try my video fixing battery drain on your car. Scotty
Years ago I had a Ford Pinto wagon that would blow all the fluid out the dipstick. There was an issue with the vent. The transmission was put together from two different years. Neither section had a vent. He drilled a hole somewhere and fixed that issue. Battery going dead, I suspect a short in the Alternator.
