Ok, so I have a 2008 Yukon Denali and when I start the car, it’s sounds like something is scraping something in the engine. If you could answer this that would be great because my wife is really worried for her car and if we will have to spend more money on a new car.

Sure it's not piston slap? Or lifters? (which would be a ticking or loud knocking especially on the 5.3)
