Got a 2008 grand prix 3800 and trans will work for a minute in forwad an reverse then stop work. Will only rev. So if u shut car off for a couple mins and restart. It will start shifting again then stop again after a couple minutes. Trans if full. Any ideas or should i just replace transmission? Any help would be great. Thanks

Take it to a pro who can monitor and analyze transmission data with a fancy scan tool.
