I received the "Check VSC" message today. I haven't checked the gas cap yet but just in case the problem is the MAS airflow sensor and I have to buy a new one. Should I buy the Lexus brand or is it safe to buy third party? I ask because it's very expensive from the dealer in the $100's but the 3rd party sensor are about $20 and change. On Ebay the Denso sensors are near the $100 in price take away about $10 to $20 or a little more off.

The code itself is related to your stability control system. You need a higher-level scan tool to check it.

Before you start firing the parts cannon, have the vehicle scanned to check what’s actually wrong with it.

If you ever do need to replace your MAF or other sensors, never buy cheap Chinese knockoff parts and don't buy from ebay (high probability of counterfeit parts).
