I have a 2008 Honda Accord 3.5L V6 with an automatic transmission with 270,000 kilometres. We suffered a transmission cooler failure with coolant mixing with the transmission fluid. The fluid was flushed 4 times but the transmission slips and shudders in Drive. In D3 it runs fine with no slippage. Is it safe to drive like this? Is it worth rebuilding the transmission or is it time to look for a new, used vehicle? Thanks.

Don’t sink anymore money into it. You’ve tried enough.
Get another car.
