Hello all. My mother’s 2008 Honda Pilot has been burning through both alternators and batteries over the past 6 years we’ve owned the car. It’s on its 3rd battery and 3rd alternator within the time period and I’m thinking there’s some issue with some accessory draining the parts. I’m not a mechanic so I can’t really do anything but are there any suggestions?

Do you use quality alternator and battery?

are you buying brand new or salvage/re manufactured. if its new you may have a parasitic draw somewhere take it in to check it out. or for now just disconnect battery when turning off
