2008 Hummer h3x transmission code

Scotty,

I have a P1818: Transmission Fluid Pressure Manual Valve Position Switch Drive without Drive ratio OBD-II Trouble Code on my scanner. Could this mean I am starting to have transmission problems? I have 216000 miles on it in which are all highway miles.

The interesting thing is that I do not have a check engine light on. Wouldn't that throw a check engine if the computer is detecting that?

Odds are you starting to have problems that's pretty much the mileage that most guys replace the transmission when it does go out and you want to keep it get a factory transmission for it
