Hello love the YouTube channel and want to thank you for all your help.. I’m having a problem with my 2008 Infiniti G37 the car vibrates when I turn it on and the idle goes from around a half a thousand rpm to about over a thousand and a half rpm and when I look under the hood I can visibly notice the engine shake/thump every other few seconds any idea on what it could be?
Clarification: Mileage, and which engine?
Check for vacuum leaks, then get a new air filter and a new pcv valve and clean the MAF sensor. Also, possibly clean or replace egr valve. It's probably 14 years old like the vehicle. You never mentioned the mileage. How about the spark plugs? Have they ever been changed?
Have you had the car scanned? Sounds like a problem that should have some codes
