hey there, I am Going to look at an infinti m35 x with 95000 miles For 5800$. It only had two owners and looks to be in really good shape. What's the most common problem with these? Anything I should look for while test-driving it?

A test drive is not sufficient, you need a good mechanic to give it a thorough inspection before purchase.
Looking up specs it appears that car has a conventional 5-speed automatic transmission. That being the case you would be spared the problems of Nissan's awful Jatco CVTs used in most of their cars.
