Hi,
Recently installed a new Luk Clutch kit, clutch, pressure plate, pilot bearing and throw out bearing. Also installed a new Clutch master and slave cylinder with new clutch line as it was leaking. Figured replace it all and it will last a while. Got everything installed and bled, start the engine, push in the clutch shift into 1st gear and release the clutch and nothing. ... shift into 2nd ... all the gears including reverse and all the same .. doesn't move and clutch doesn't seem to engage. I'm sure I installed the clutch and pressure plate correctly...
I was towed home and wonder when he unloaded the jeep off the back of the flat bed truck, he let it come down while it was in gear and it jerked on the way down more than a few times.
Anyone have any suggestions on what could be wrong?
Thank you,
Jimy
Its the little things... lol. I had the transfer case in neutral...... please disregard my question above. Thank you
Hey live and learn always check the obvious things first
Exactly.... I was so worried that I did something wrong with installing the clutch since it was my first time to install the whole package. Not hard, just time consuming in the driveway. Love your videos and this website.. your AWESOME Scotty!
