I have a 2008 Kia Rondo automatic and all of the brake lights went out at same time. I think I need to replace brake switch. I am not super mechanically inclined. Is this something that I can do or would it be worth it to pay a mechanic to complete? How hard is it to replace I saw a video on how to replace and it seemed complicated

@stryker800
are the break light bulbs blown?? check your fuse, there was probably a short in your car wich means electricity surge went up too high. check your 12 volt battery, if it goes above 14 i would say there is an issue with it only if you had it for more than 4 years. something else is making your brake lights fail. can you upload picture of your bulbs?

Yes it's very easy to replace the brake light switch they just bolt in and out but do check the bulbs first sometimes they both have burned out
