I'm considering buying a 2008 Lexus IS 250 with 61K mi for $14,500 from a used car dealership. Seems like a fair deal but my question is it's reliability and if it's fairy simple to work on myself, like changing spark plugs, alternator, etc. Are parts expensive? What issues do you know of that I should prepare for as miles rack up? Your thoughts, please and thank you.

Most Lexus parts are relatively expensive but with that mileage you shouldn't need much for quite some time
