I have a chance to buy a 2010 Volvo S80, V6, 6 spd trans, with 22k original miles, we verified miles. Has some minor scratches front bumper (senior owned) but mechanically excellent, interior perfect, non-turbo and always serviced at Rickenbaugh dealer. Runs great. Asking about $8k. I know Scotty is not big on Volvo, but it is 2nd generation. Am I looking at a money pit, electrical problems, trans problems ? Buy or walk away ? Car is for grand daughter, who is very careful driver. Thanks for your suggestions...

We've done that, also NHTSA, Edmunds, NADA, repairpal. We just respect and trust Scotty's opinion.
They are actually pretty decent cars but expect some repairs when they are between 100-200k miles, other than that the Aisin transmissions are good, and if it's a NA motor, it can hold up reasonably well.
