It started when the alarm went off, fan came on and would not go off, so batter drains. We jump battery and goes ok til next time. We are on our 3rd battery in less than 40k miles. Several mechanics have not been able to solve this issue. Any ideas?

My guess would be the relay.
Sounds like the relay is stuck in the closed position. I would replace it. Autozone - Duralast - #20382 - $18.99
