Hi Scotty,

You are doing a great job with the videos you drop on YouTube. I can't even imagine how i have saved just from watching you for 3 years now. Recently, I scanned my car at AutoZone and the scan result says to replace the knock sensor. The gear is stuck at the 3rd gear and it has a hard shift when I'm moving the gear stick from Park to Reverse. A mechanic gave me a quote of $175 to replace the knock sensor but I want to see if the sensor is accessible so I can replace it myself.

Also, there's a website you always tell people to go look up stuff about their cars but I can't remember the name of the website.

If you may, I need the name of the website and I also need the location of my Knock Sensor.

Thank you.

That doesn't sound like a knock sensor issue it sounds like your transmission is going out. You need to take this to a mechanic you trust and have them check the car from this point to see what can be repaired.

@jacksonishere
I took it to a mechanic already and he scanned it. That was the only code that came back. P0328.
I thought it was the transmission too but the scanner said otherwise. The mechanic said there was no transmission codes in the scanner. What do you think?

Your transmission doesn't have to throw a code to be worn out and you can try and replace the sensor but idk if that will help or not but it's going to be a ton cheaper than a new trans if it helps.
